Some of my Favourite Music

For a long time I kept the musical samples off these pages, for the simple reason that, with the honourable exception of Supraphon, none of the record companies responded to my letters and emails asking permission to quote these brief, lo-fi extracts.

So I have decided to include them anyway. If any company does not wish to see them here, please let me know and I will be happy to respond to your message and remove them.

Much of the music listed here is well outside the normal repertoire. All of it comes from composers I believe to have been underestimated.
